Transcripts and test scores sent directly to us by the school or testing service are considered official. Copies of transcripts and test scores that you send us or fax us are not considered official. SAT and other test scores will be considered official if they are posted on an official transcript or if they are sent to us directly from the testing agency. Nearly all high schools will include your test scores on your high school transcript, if you took the test(s) while you were in high school.
If you are applying for a fall term, and you are enrolled in another college during the preceding fall term, have the college send one copy of your transcript to us. However - don't have it sent too soon! Make sure the transcript contains your final grades for the preceding fall term - we can't evaluate your admission file without those grades! If you attended other colleges before your present one, make arrangements for those transcripts to be sent to us right now.
If you are still in high school, we might be able to admit you provisionally based on information you supply on your application. If you receive an official letter of admission from us, then wait until your final grades and your date of graduation are posted on the transcript before instructing your high school to send us an official transcript. If you do not receive a letter of admission within a month after you have applied, please make arrangements for your high school transcript to be sent as soon as your fall grades are posted, and again after your final grades and date of graduation are posted.
If you are applying for a summer term, we will need all your official transcripts, including grades up through the previous fall term (if applicable), before we can evaluate your admission file.
If you are applying for a spring term, we will need all your official transcripts, including grades up through the previous summer term (if applicable), before we can evaluate your admission file.

Yes. We always need an official copy from every college you have attended.
Yes. We always need an official copy of every college you have attended, even if your attendance was very brief. Sometimes the college cannot provide an actual transcript. If that is the case, you will need to ask the Registrar's Office of that college to provide us with a letter stating that there is no transcript available.
Every college must maintain transcript records and make them available upon your request, assuming you have made your request in a timely manner and paid whatever transcript fees are required. If there is a "hold" upon your records (an unpaid library fine? Other fees that you owe at that college?), you must take care of that hold so that your transcript can then be sent to us. Without it, your admission file at Humboldt will remain "incomplete," and no admission evaluation can take place.
