Generally, students must register in one section from each component type shown for a particular class. For example, BIOL 104 has two lecture sections and several lab sections. Students who register for one of the lecture sections must also register for one of the labs associated with that lecture. Association numbers and section numbers are shown in parenthesis when multiple values exist.

ART 396B Guest Artist Workshop42081IA,Alicia McCarthy is one of the founding members of the Mission School along with artists Barry McGee, Margaret Killgallen, Rubi Neri and Chris Johanson. These artists were influenced by the urban, bohemian, "street" culture of the Mission District as well as by mural and graffiti art, comic and cartoon art, and folk art forms such as sign painting and hobo art as well as their use of non-traditional artistic materials, such as house paint, spray paint, correction fluid, ballpoint pens, scrapboard, and found objects. Alicia McCarthy is represented by the Jack Handley Gallery in NYC and John

Bergruenn Gallery in San Francisco and was recently exhibited at the SF MOMA as a SECA Award recipient. Alicia McCarthy will be here in October to meet with students and talk with them about their work as well as giving a slide lecture on her work and process.
