* Permanent Text Status: If the particular course is indicated as NONE, there are no required texts. If indicated as FREE, text materials are offered free to students.
* Bookstore Text Info: Link to Bookstore text details for all courses that potentially have required texts.

Generally, students must register in one section from each component type shown for a particular class. For example, BIOL 104 has two lecture sections and several lab sections. Students who register for one of the lecture sections must also register for one of the labs associated with that lecture. Association numbers and section numbers are shown in parenthesis when multiple values exist.

Class Notes
ART 280 Animation I23374If you are new to creating animation or have been making it for years, this split 280/480 class is perfect for you. Students of all levels are guided through traditional, mixed media and experimental animation techniques, catering to each student's interests. We will look at animation from the dawn of filmmaking and see the groundbreaking animation being made today. This class will use both digital and analog tools to bring your ideas and stories to life.
ART 301 Macabre Modernism22582This course will look at the darker side of modernity by focusing on images of monsters, death, the decadent, and the otherwise sordid in European and U.S. art and visual culture from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
ART 302 Indigenous Mexican Manuscripts23406In this course, students will be introduced to the pictorial manuscripts produced by the Aztec and Mixtec cultures of Mexico. Specifically, their divinatory manuscripts and historical texts. Students will develop an understanding of the visual conventions necessary to critically engage with and read them.
ART 326 Painting II21980We will focus on contemporary examples and methodologies of rendering landscapes to make paintings about the wild spaces that surround us here on the North Coast
