Weekend course involving: (1) Saturday morning lectures and demonstrations of rock and mineral physical properties as well as classification schemes; (2) Saturday afternoon examination of rocks and minerals within the HSU collection, and; (3) a day-long field trip on Sunday, May 1st, 8:00 AM, to observe minerals in the Klamath Mountains.
