From hot yoga, to goat yoga, to beer yoga, one might wonder what the sages of ancient India would think of today¿s interpretation of yoga. This upper division course will explore the history, texts, and traditions of yoga as well as contemporary concerns including post-colonial perspectives, cultural appropriation, and secular yoga in the health and wellness industry.
